Feast your eyes on this preowned Gibson Tal Farlow. A must have, not only for serious jazz players but for any guitar collector. This guitar is in excellent playing condition with some cosmetic flaws. There is checking on the body, aged patina on hardware, small mark on top of headstock, one on the neck near the strap button and one very small mark on the face near the controls. Today, the Tal Farlow is the rarest of the 60s archtop Artist models. Peak production was in 1965, when 77 guitars were shipped (in contrast, Gibson shipped 1,750 ES-335s that year). Though it was not officially discontinued until 1971, no Tal Farlows were shipped after 1967. Total production was 215 units. Gibson reissued the Tal Farlow in 1993.
